The LabVIEW Instrument Control Course teaches you how to develop LabVIEW applications to control GPIB and serial instruments.

The LabVIEW Instrument Control Course covers the basics of instrument control. This course teaches you how to use, modify, and develop instrument drivers for programmatically controlling instruments in LabVIEW. You will examine real-world industry examples and learn how program with the Virtual Instrument Software Architecture (VISA), VISA properties, and VISA events. You will learn how to use the VISA interface to configure and control GPIB, Ethernet, serial, and VXI instruments. Additionally, the course covers how to modify and create new instrument drivers. The LabVIEW Instrument Control Course requires experience with Windows and the topics covered in the LabVIEW Core 1 Course. The course is recommended for LabVIEW users learning how to control computer-based instruments with GPIB, serial, or other communication protocols.
