**Step 1:**As we know, a whole of something is equal to 100%. In this case, we want to find what 48% of 13 is. We know that 100% of 13 is, well, just 13.**Step 2:**If 100% of 13 is 13, then we can get 1% of 13 by dividing it by 100. Let's do 13 / 100. This is equal to 0.13. Now we know that 1% is 0.13.**Step 3:**Now that we know what 1% of 13 is, we just need to multiply it by 48 to get our solution! 0.13 times 48 = 6.24. That's all there is to it!
