Signal Mapping for 100-Pin to Two 50-Pin Connector Cables

This article explains how the wire pinouts and how digital signals are mapped to each of the 50-pin connectors when using a 100-pin connector with a cable to split it into two 50-pin connectors like the R1005050.

Introduction

The following diagrams illustrate the mapping of the digital signals from a 100-pin connector to two 50-pin connectors. The information can also be found in the user's manual of the PCI-6508 (attached below) on pages 3-2, 3-5 and 3-6.
