The NI InsightCM Enterprise Gateway can write features within NI InsightCM directly to PI points on the OSIsoft PI server. The features include calculated levels, spectral bands, and metrics, You can configure the mapping to PI points on the Historian page of NI InsightCM.
On the Historian page, you can create point mappings between NI InsightCM tags and PI points.
NI InsightCM can create point name patterns that automatically build the mappings based on the schema you specify. Additional mappings can be created for equipment status, sensor status, and alarms.
To use the NI InsightCM Enterprise Gateway Toolkit with OSIsoft PI System software, you must purchase and configure the PI System Access License from OSIsoft on the NI InsightCM server.

With the NI InsightCM Enteprise Gateway Toolkit, you can display data from the OSIsoft PI server on the Data Viewer page. This allows you to correlated external data, such as control system data, with the monitoring data to better understand the health of the monitored asset. You can configure the PI points to read by adding a Historian asset node to your asset hierarchy. When the historian asset node is loaded on the Data Viewer page, data from the configured PI point is loaded from the OSIsoft PI server and dislayed on the trend viewer.

The NI InsightCM Enterprise Gateway Toolkit hosts a built-in OPC UA Server to publish tags to third-party software. The features, including calculated levels, spectral bands, and metrics, are written to tags based on the name of the source feature. Any third-party software that can subscribe to tags through OPC UA can then read data directly from NI InsightCM.
You can configure the OPC UA server name and security policies in the Options within NI InsightCM.
