Overview

This document contains the LabVIEW Datalogging and Supervisory Control (DSC) Module known issues that were discovered before and since the release of the LabVIEW 2016 DSC Module. Not every issue known to NI will appear on this list; it is intended to only show the severe and more common issues that can be encountered.

The LabVIEW 2016 Platform Known Issues contains a full listing of known issues, including LabVIEW toolkits and modules.

Shared Variable Engine crashes when the OPC Client is aborted
When the network cable is disconnected or when the OPC Client (like DataSpy) is aborted, the Shared Variable Engine will crash after 7-10 minutes. The crash only happens when the OPC client is run on a different computer from the SVE.

Visual gaps in Citadel traces when plotting in MAX or HyperTrend
MAX-Citadel Traces and Hypertrend-Citadel Traces show gaps in traces when plotting. This is an issue in rendering the data on the graph and does not affect the actual data from the database.

Workaround: Click anywhere on the graph or click on the 'End of Data' button.
