IDKnown Issues
633710I haven't been able to cache packages using NIDeploymentUtility.exe utility. I can cache distribution based installers

Workaround: The NIDeploymentUtility.exe utility doesn't support packages. It can only cached distribution based installers and not package based installers.
599359The .nipkg file created by 'nipkg pack' does not include any files that have non-English characters in their paths.

Workaround: The nipkg pack command does not support files with unicode characters in the path.
603708NI Package Manager can't fully uninstall LEGO MINDSTORMS Education EV3.

Workaround: N/A
618871I have been experiencing a 30 second delay while launching NI Package Manager.

Workaround: N/A - This is due to Local Area Network settings.
623147I can't install packages from NI Package Manager: "There was a problem executing the package transaction. An unexpected error occurred while calling libarchive 'Write failed'."

Workaround:  Make sure you have enough disk space on your system to unzip and install the package.
630359Clicking package links (for example, nipkg://store/1/item/56) in LabVIEW System Diagram will not launch Package Manager as expected

Workaround:  If Google Chrome is the default web browser, you will experience this issue. Change your default web browser. This is a known issue with Google Chrome.
644626I installed NI Package Manager. Then I realized I can't modify/repair any installed NI Software.

Workaround: NI Package Manager has removed the modify/repair functionality from current or prior NI Software versions. Uninstall and then reinstall the software.
644632I see a message containing a GUID when removing a package. I can't see the name of the product.

Workaround: For a dual-citizen and a legacy product, the name sometimes is replaced with GUID. This is not an issue, you can continue with the uninstallation process.
624530When attempting to install NI software, I get the error saying there was a problem updating the feeds cache.

Workaround: This error is caused because you can't communicate with NI server to install packages. Go to ni.com/info and enter 'NIPMCommError' info code for further assistance.
644630While installing NI software, I get the Proceed Anyway dialog box with two solutions.

Workaround:  A product installed on your system depends on the item you are trying to remove. Close the
window to cancel the removal, or click Proceed Anyway to remove the product along with all of its dependencies (you will see a final list of all packages to be removed before uninstallation begins).
