Overview

This document contains information about all patches available for the following NI-DAQmx drivers:

 

  • NI-DAQmx 2024 Q3.1
  • NI-DAQmx 2024 Q4

The two fixed issues mentioned will help you decide whether to upgrade.

Introduction

All issues fixed in each patch are listed in the tables below.

While NI encourages all users to update drivers to the most recent versions whenever possible, this update is strongly recommended for mioDAQ device users.

Issues Fixed in NI-DAQmx 2024 Q4 Patch 1

IDFixed Issue
2928587The mioDAQ device may enter a reboot loop if the firmware update was interrupted, potentially causing permanent damage to the device.
2945840Under certain circumstances, the RSE terminal configuration of the mioDAQ SMIO device (USB-6451 or USB-6453) may produce inaccurate measurements when using ranges other than 10 Vpp.

 

Installation

The NI-DAQmx 2024 Q4 Patch 1 can be installed over an existing NI-DAQmx 2024 Q4 or as a standalone installation:

  • For systems with NI-DAQmx 2024 Q4: Update via Update Service or NI Package Manager.
  • For systems without NI-DAQmx 2024 Q4:  Install the patch version (bundled with NI-DAQmx 2024 Q4), or download the bundled installer from the page linked below:
