NI-XNET Returns Incorrect (Zeroed) Data for MSB Byte Array Signals During Frame-to-Byte Array Conversion

When converting a Frame Raw payload to a Byte Array in NI‑XNET, signals configured with MSB (big-endian) byte order may return incorrect data consisting of zeroed or improperly aligned bytes. Signals using LSB (little-endian) byte order are not affected.
This issue can lead to incorrect signal interpretation in applications that rely on Byte Array conversions for MSB signals.

Workaround:

There is currently no known workaround for this issue.

Vulnerability CVE-2026-8036

CVE-2026-8036 may allow a local authenticated user to access arbitrary system memory, potentially leading to privilege escalation.
