Devices with multiple revisions require an exact revision match in the ESI fileFor devices with multiple revisions, the master requires the revision in the ESI file to exactly match the revision reported by the hardware. If the revisions do not match exactly, the device does not load or configure correctly. Workaround: Edit the ESI file so that the revision value matches the revision reported by the hardware. |

Loading modular EtherCAT devices may fail when the 0xF050 register is not supportedWhen modular EtherCAT devices do not support the optional 0xF050 register, the master may not be able to discover the device modules correctly. This can prevent the modular device profile from loading and the device from being initialized successfully in a LabVIEW project. Workaround: There is currently no known workaround for this issue. |
