This document contains the LabVIEW Sound and Vibration Toolkit known issues that were discovered before and since the release of LabVIEW Sound and Vibration Toolkit 2026 Q3. Known issues are performance issues or technical bugs that NI has acknowledged exist within this version of the product.
Not every issue known to NI appears on this list; it is intended to show the most severe and common issues that you may encounter and provide workarounds when possible. Other technical issues that you may encounter could occur through normal product use or system compatibility issues. Workaround: 1. Sample faster. 2. Break the sweep into two segments (high and low frequency) and decrease the maximum harmonic for the high frequency sweep. 3. Parse the acquired waveform and perform explicit resampling to angular domain (see Continuous Sweep* (Advanced) example VI). Explicitly maintain multiple resampled signals (each with appropriate sampling for the frequency resolution).

Opening Any SVT Executable on a Target Computer Causes ErrorsWhen you open an executable that includes SoundVib_MCM
Examples.lvlib on a target computer, the executable errors out due to a missing dependency, LVASPT_TFA.dll. Workaround: In Application Properties, in the Source Files category, add LVASPT_TFA.dll to your application as Always Included in the build configuration, as shown below. The LVASPT_TFA.dll file is located in the C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\LabVIEW 20xx\resource\ folder. |

"File Not Found Error" Occurs When the SVFA API Is Used with AppbuilderSome of the Sound and Vibration Toolkit Frequency Analysis (SVFA) VIs cause Application Builder to fail generating an application. Note that you can still use Application Builder with SVT (Sound and Vibration Toolkit) to build applications that do not use SVFA. This issue occurs with SVT decoupled versions on LabVIEW 2022 and LabVIEW 2023.
