VeriStand Steps for TestStand 2025 Q1 Known Issues

Overview

This document contains the VeriStand Steps for TestStand known issues that were discovered before and since the release of VeriStand Steps for TestStand 2025 Q1. Known issues are performance issues or technical bugs that NI has acknowledged exist within this version of the product.

 

Not every issue known to NI appears on this list; it is intended to show the most severe and common issues that you may encounter and provide workarounds when possible. Other technical issues that you may encounter could occur through normal product use or system compatibility issues. Invalid Filepath suggestions when project path is not included in TestStand search directory

When the project path is set as a relative path, filepath suggestions of successive steps do not work unless the corresponding directory is available in the search directory.

Workaround:

Ensure the directory containing the project path is included in the TestStand search directory to enable file suggestions.

TestStand application loses focus momentarily while using Multi Channel Browser Dialog

When using the Multi-Channel Browser in the Set or Get Channel Values steps, clicking OK causes TestStand to lose focus momentarily until the action is fully processed.

Workaround:

No workaround for the issue. TestStand gains the focus after the OK action is completed.
