Ultra-Wideband Test Toolkit 25.0 Known Issues

Overview

This document contains the Ultra-Wideband Test Toolkit known issues that were discovered before and since the release of Ultra-Wideband Test Toolkit 25.0. Known issues are performance issues or technical bugs that NI has acknowledged exist within this version of the product.

Not every issue known to NI appears on this list; it is intended to show the most severe and common issues that you may encounter and provide workarounds when possible. Other technical issues that you may encounter could occur through normal product use or system compatibility issues. You may find more information on these issues in NI’s Product Documentation, Knowledgebase, or Community; see Additional Resources.

Measurement Fails When Generation VI is Started Before Analysis VI in IEEE 802.15.4ab ARDEV Mode

In IEEE 802.15.4ab ARDEV mode, measurements execute correctly only when the Analysis VI is triggered before the Generation VI.
If the Generation VI is started first, the measurement produces incorrect results due to trigger check failures. This occurs because the analysis path must be initialized prior to signal generation to ensure proper synchronization.

Workaround:

Start the Analysis VI before the Generation VI.

Limited UWB Channel Support for BW > 1 GHz on PXIe-5842

On PXIe-5842 hardware, in LabVIEW and .NET examples, for UWB channels with bandwidth >1 GHz, only channel 7 is supported. Channels 4, 11, and 15 are not supported.
In the UWB SFP application, none of the channels with BW >1 GHz are supported.

Workaround:

Use channel 7 for bandwidth >1GHz, or use other channels for bandwidth <1GHz.
