Overview

The following items are notable issues fixed between the release of SystemLink 2025 Q3 and SystemLink 2025 Q2, including additional patches and service packs. If you have an issue ID, you can search this list to validate that the issue has been fixed. This is not an exhaustive list of issues fixed in the current version of SystemLink.

System and Asset report creation fails due to SystemLink internal communication error



Include relevant system information, steps to reproduce, and any workarounds.

Workaround:

Due to an internal communication error, reports created by TestStand or other applications may fail to upload correctly, and no error is shown by the application.

To resolve the issue, update your server to SystemLink 2025 Q3 Patch 1 or later.

To workaround the issue in older versions of SystemLink, you may add the following SYSTEM variable to the server: 
   Key: SKYLINE_FILE_INGESTION_SERVICE_URL 
   Value: http://localhost

To create a system variable in Windows, search for "Edit the System Environment Variables" and click the result to open the System Properties window. On the Advanced tab, click the "Environment Variables..." button, then under the "System variables" section, click "New...". In the "New System Variable" window, enter "SKYLINE_FILE_INGESTION_SERVICE_URL" with the value "http://localhost", then click "OK" on all open windows to save the changes.
