Sending to Test Station from an editor generates the wrong component

When editing a group in the context of a test, the user can send the test to the Test Station directly from the editor. In case there is a test component on the same hierarchy level as the edited group editor, the test component is generated instead of the test.

Workaround:

Move all groups other than the test components to a separate folder.

PAbasic program is not shown

If a PAbasic program with several sub-programs is opened, the content is not shown for all of them, when navigating to the sub-programs.

Workaround:

Navigate to the first level of the PAbasic editor and from there open the intended PAbasic program.

Modules without a configuration part cannot be updated

If a module does not have a configuration part, the module cannot be updated.

Workaround:

Create an empty configuration part.

Step/Value tables: table name cannot be changed

The error message "Error while saving: 'DataPortal.Update failed...'" can appear when there is an attempt to rename a table to an exisiting or a new one using the name picker.

Workaround:

There are 2 options available as a workaround:
  • Create a new table with a new name
  • Change the name of the step table by right-click -> edit or through the "Names" plugin

ethercat scan terminates

Start an application that scans the ethercat network dynamically during the runtime. The newly created scan will be terminated because of an invalid priority.



Workaround:

There is currently no known workaround for this issue.
