On certain instruments, calling Commit, reconfiguring, and calling Commit again can put the instrument into a bad state.Calling niDCPower Commit with Channels on a channel without calling Initiate, then reconfiguring the channel (including using the channel as a secondary channel in a merge), and then calling Commit / Initiate on the channel again can put the channel into a bad state. For example, a function call may throw an exception. Impacted instrument models: PXIe-4147, PXIe-4162, PXIe-4163, PXIe-4190
Workaround: Ensure that Initiate with Channels is called before reconfiguring or calling Abort on the channel.
