This document contains the Digital Signal Transceiver Driver known issues that were discovered before and since the release of Digital Signal Transceiver Driver 2025 Q2. Known issues are performance issues or technical bugs that NI has acknowledged exist within this version of the product.
Not every issue known to NI appears on this list; it is intended to show the most severe and common issues that you may encounter and provide workarounds when possible. Other technical issues that you may encounter could occur through normal product use or system compatibility issues. You may find more information on these issues in NI’s Product Documentation, Knowledgebase, or Community; see Additional Resources.

Error -89127 When Using PXI_Trig0 and PXI_Trig1 at the Same TimeUsing PXI_Trig0 or PXI_Trig1 to route between the Vector Signal Transceiver (VST) and Digital Signal Transceiver (DST) can cause error -89127: No registered trigger lines could be found between the devices in the route. Workaround: Use PXI_Trig6 or PXI_Trig7 for this routing to avoid this error.

Unable to Use the Same PXI_Trig Lines Between DST Acquisition and DST GenerationThe Digital Signal Transceirver (DST) cannot export an event to PXI_trig0 and consume this event between DST Acquisition and DST Generation due to a CLIP limitation of the IDL in FlexRIO driver. Workaround: There is currently no known workaround for this issue. |

Fractional Interpolator and Decimator Do Not Work with 32 SPCThe fractional interpolator and decimator do not work with 32 samples per cycle (SPC). The fractional interpolator and decimator experience timing failures with 2 channels at 16 SPC, 4 channels at 8 SPC, and 8 channels at 4 SPC. Workaround: There is currently no known workaround for this issue. |

DST Acquisition Can Be Slow or Unresponsive when Using Large Number of Records or Number of Points.DST Acquisition can become slow or not responsive when you set the acquisition to Run Continuously on a large number of records (more than 5000) or Large Number of Points (more than 1M).
Workaround: Set the acquisition to "Single" Finite for acquisitions with a large number of points or records.

Serial Class Packed Library Path Always Change Back to Default Path. After the application loads the serial class packed library in memory, it will not reload from disk when the serial class packed library has been updated or was moved to a different directory. Workaround: To reload the serial class packed library with the same name, the user must restart the LabVIEW or InstrumentStudio Plugin application.

Multiple Instances of The InstrumentStudio DST Plugin Could Not Be Opened When Closed Without Disconnecting the Device Or Closed When In ErrorWhen using two or more instances of the InstrumentStudio Plugin, closing the plugin without disconnecting the device or closing the panel after an error could lead it to not being able to open the same plugin panel again.
Workaround: Close the specific plugin panel or all plugin panels and then reopen them. You can use save configuration to make this process more streamlined.
