Overview

This document contains the Vision Acquisition Software known issues that were discovered before and since the release of Vision Acquisition Software 2023 Q1. Known issues are performance issues or technical bugs that NI has acknowledged exist within this version of the product.

 

Not every issue known to NI appears on this list; it is intended to show the most severe and common issues that you may encounter and provide workarounds when possible. Other technical issues that you may encounter could occur through normal product use or system compatibility issues. Targets added to a new Project in LabVIEW 2023 Q1 and newer do not populate child items for Dependencies and Build Specifications

When adding new Compact Vision System, Industrial SmartCamera, and Industrial Controller targets in LabVIEW 2023 Q3, the Project Targets are missing the "Dependencies" and "Build Specifications" children.

Workaround:

Save a Project in LabVIEW 2022 Q3 or earlier and open it with LabVIEW 2023 Q1 or newer. The Project will still have the Dependencies and Build Specs child items when opened in the new version.
