Overview

This document contains the Specification Compliance Manager known issues that were discovered before and since the release of Specification Compliance Manager 2023 Q4. Known issues are performance issues or technical bugs that NI has acknowledged exist within this version of the product.

 

Not every issue known to NI appears on this list; it is intended to show the most severe and common issues that you may encounter and provide workarounds when possible. Other technical issues that you may encounter could occur through normal product use or system compatibility issues. Histogram View Works Erratically If You Change Settings without Clicking Apply Button

In the Settings section of the Histogram view, if you add or remove product comparison without clicking the Apply button, the following may happen:

  1. 1) The histogram view is stuck in infinite loading

    2) When you click values in the Statistics section, the histogram plots the values as if you have applied Remove Comparison. 

Workaround:

After customizing the Settings section, always click the Apply button before you do any other operation. In case of any errors, refresh the page.

Blue Dot Does Not Appear When You Clear Spec Mapping

A blue dot indicator typically appears beside the spec name when the Compliance values for that spec are updated. However, when you clear spec mapping and the Compliance view becomes empty, the blue dot indicator does not appear.

Workaround:

There is currently no known workaround for this issue.

Spec Details Columns Are Moved Outside Their Group and into Frozen Columns

In the Compliance view, it's expected that the columns under the Spec Details group should remain within the group. However, now if you drag and drop any Spec Details columns into the frozen columns, the columns are moved out of their column groups and get frozen. 

Workaround:

Refresh the page to get the column order sorted.

Coverage Value Sometimes Hides When You Scroll Down to Statistics Section in Histogram View

In the Histogram view, when you select two products to compare and scroll to the right in the Statistics section, the Coverage value may become blank. 

Workaround:

Scroll again or refresh the page.
