Overview

This document contains the MeasurementLink known issues that were discovered before and since the release of MeasurementLink 2023 Q1. Known issues are performance issues or technical bugs that NI has acknowledged exist within this version of the product.

 

Not every issue known to NI appears on this list; it is intended to show the most severe and common issues that you may encounter and provide workarounds when possible. Other technical issues that you may encounter could occur through normal product use or system compatibility issues. gRPC NI-SCOPE Fetch Array Measurement crashes when requesting a partial waveform size

Setting the "meas waveform size" input to a value smaller than the actual waveform size results in LabVIEW crashing.

Applicable SW versions:
MeasurementLink 2023 Q1
NI-SCOPE gRPC LabVIEW API 2023 Q1
LabVIEW 2020 and later

Workaround:

Request the full size of the waveform explicitly, use the default "-1" or leave the size unwired to avoid the crash.
