Sequoia Essentials Course Overview

Sequoia is a flexible lite-code framework for manipulating, analyzing, and augmenting data from various data sources into actionable insights across your supply chain. The new Sequoia course is composed of several lessons and hands-on practices. It is advised that at the first milestone, course participants will undergo the first lesson in a self-learning method. The trainer will recap the content in the classroom.

Course Objectives

  • Explain the value of the Sequoia framework

  • Explain the Sequoia steps and the execution methods

  • Design different Sequoia scripts to manipulate the data

  • Plan logical script sequencing and use Sequoia variables

  • Utilize Sequoia steps to perform analysis based on wafer geography and statistical calculations

  • Utilize Sequoia steps to perform data augmentation

  • Explore the unique steps of DB Sequoia

Course Details

Duration

  • Instructor-led Classroom: Two (2) days

  • Instructor-led Virtual: Three (3) days, five-and-a-half-hour sessions

Audience

  • The course is focused on the Semiconductor industry, except for the content in the first lesson

  • Deciding who should attend this course will depend on the tasks that the person will be responsible for, relative to the operation and use of the solution

  • The training is designed to address 2 user groups: Data Scientist/Engineer and Test Engineer & Product Engineer. It is also beneficial to identify a key user to include in this training

  • The group of learners should range from 5 to 10 people

Prerequisites

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel

  • Prior basic knowledge of JavaScript or other programming language

  • Prior basic knowledge of SQL

  • Prior knowledge of the Global Operations learning path

  • An environment where the learner can practice

  • Provided information if the customer has a Vertica environment

  • Virtual instructor-led training includes digital course material that is delivered through the NI Learning Center.

  • NI virtual instructor-led training is delivered through Zoom, and Amazon AppStream/LogMein access is provided to participants to perform the exercises on virtual machines equipped with the latest software.
