Overview
The PXIe-416x Open-Sense Protection Accessory with Detection connects to and modifies the behavior of the PXIe-4162 and the PXIe-4163 Source Measure Units (SMUs) when the module is used in remote sense mode. You can connect the PXIe-416x Open-Sense Protection Accessory with Detection within a supported PXI Chassis through D-SUB connectors. Additionally, the PXIe-416x Open-Sense Protection Accessory features resistors that prevent runaway voltage if the sense lines are connected improperly.
