Overview

The PXIe-8398 enables control of a PXI Express chassis from an external host, such as a desktop PC, rackmount controller, or a separate master chassis. Using a Gen 3 x16 PCI Express link, the PXIe-8398 provides up to 16 GB/s of data transfer between the chassis and host over a copper or fiber-optic cable connection.
