Overview

The PCIe-8398 is a host interface card used to control a PXI Express chassis over a software-transparent PCI Express Gen 3 x16 link. The PCIe-8398 is installed into a x16 PCI Express slot of a desktop or rackmount PC and is connected to a PXIe-8398 or PXIe-8399 PXI remote control module using Gen 3 x8 copper cables.
