Overview
The GE cPCI-5565PIORC provides a high-speed, low-latency, deterministic interface that you can use to share data between up to 256 independent systems. Each module contains 256 MB of onboard SDRAM, which provides fast read access times to stored data. The module stores written data in the local SDRAM and broadcasts the data over a high-speed, fiber-optic data path to other reflective memory nodes. The transfer of data between nodes is software transparent, requiring no processor overhead. Available in various form factors, the GE cPCI-5565PIORC allows computers, workstations, PLCs, and other embedded controllers to all share data in real-time.
