Drop-In Replacement for TI TMS9914A GPIB ASIC
Overview
The NAT9914 provides Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive (RoHS)-compliant drop-in replacement parts for the TI TMS9914A 40-pin DIP and 44-pin PLCC packages. The NAT9914 is register- and pin-compatible with the TMS9914A on power up and includes additional features borrowed from the NAT4882 IEEE 488.2 controller chip. You can use the NAT9914 to perform IEEE 488 talker, listener, and controller functions. Additionally, the NAT9914 features a programmable clock rate up to 20 MHz, a low-power CMOS design, and direct memory access.
