Return policies for NI products vary based on whether they are hardware or software.
Returning Software
Returns are accepted within 30 days from the invoice date, provided the software has not been activated. You do not need to return physical media. A 10% processing fee applies if the incorrect product(s) or quantity was ordered.
To return your order, complete the following steps:
- Open a case to start your return.
- After your return is approved, a credit note will be issued to your account.
Returning Hardware
Returns are accepted within 60 days from the invoice date. A Return Material Authorization (RMA) number is required to return hardware.
To return your order, complete the following steps:
- A 15% processing fee applies if the incorrect product(s) or quantity was ordered.
- An additional 15% refurbishment fee applies if the product packaging is opened or the product seal is broken.
- Customized or non-NI branded products can be returned at our discretion.
- Open a case to start your return.
- After your return is approved, you will receive an RMA number, shipping label, and return instructions.
- Package and ship your product.
Returned items must be received within 30 days of RMA approval to avoid cancellation. - After your return is received and inspected, a credit note will be issued to your account.
