General Information

What is NI Connect?

NI Connect is our annual flagship event where engineers and industry leaders gather to explore innovations in test and data analytics. It’s a hybrid event offering both in-person and livestream experiences.

 

When and where is it happening?

NI Connect will take place May 12–14, 2026, at the Fort Worth Convention Center in Fort Worth, Texas.

 

Is there a virtual option?

Yes. Keynotes will be livestreamed for free.

Registration and Payment

Do I need to pay to attend?

Yes. Registration fees apply. Please refer to the pricing section on the event website for details.

 

Can I use training credits to pay?

Yes. If you have enterprise agreement credits, training credits, or educational services credits or FlexCredits, you may use them to cover the cost of registration. Select “Pay with training credits” at checkout, and the NI team will confirm availability.

 

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations received in writing by April 24, 2026, are refundable minus a $25 processing fee. No refunds or adjustments will be issued after this date.

 

Can I transfer my registration to someone else?

No. Registrations are non-transferable.

Housing and Accommodations

What is the NI Connect Housing Policy?

To support our host properties and maintain reduced registration fees, NI Connect requests that attendees stay within the designated housing blocks arranged for the conference. These blocks offer the lowest available rates and additional perks.

Attendees who receive the early bird rate or complimentary registration must stay within the housing block to retain their discount. If an attendee is found to be staying outside the block, a $300 fee will be charged following the event.

 

Are local attendees required to stay in the housing block?

No. Local attendees are exempt from this requirement.

 

Where can I find hotel options?

Discounted hotel rates are provided during the registration process. All hotels are within walking distance of the Fort Worth Convention Center.

Onsite Experience

What should I wear?

Business casual attire is required for all attendees.

 

Will I need a badge?

No. Local attendees are exempt from this requirement.

 

Is parking available?

Yes. The Fort Worth Convention Center has two parking garages across the street at 1200 Houston Street. Additional parking options are available throughout downtown Fort Worth.

Conduct and Safety

What behavior is expected at the event?

Attendees are expected to act professionally and respectfully at all times. Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.

 

What should I do if I witness misconduct?

Report any concerns immediately to NI Connect staff or the Executive Committee.

 

Will there be security checks?

Yes. Random bag checks may occur. Attendees must not bring illegal or hazardous items to the venue.

Media and Privacy

Will I be photographed or recorded?

Yes. By attending NI Connect, you consent to NI (now part of Emerson) capturing and using photos, video, and audio recordings for promotional purposes. If you prefer not to be recorded, please notify event staff or the photographer onsite.

Additional Information

Will sessions be available after the event?

Yes. Livestreamed keynotes and select breakout session content will be available on demand.

 

Are re-certification credits offered?

Yes. Certification credits are awarded for both presenting and attending in person.

1. Registration and Cancellation

By registering for NI Connect Fort Worth 2026, attendees agree to the terms outlined herein. Registrations are non-transferable and apply solely to the individual named during the registration process. Cancellations must be submitted in writing to ni.connect@emerson.com no later than April 24, 2026. Cancellations received by this date will be refunded, less a processing fee of $25. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after April 24, 2026, or for registrants who fail to attend the event without prior cancellation.

NI (now part of Emerson) reserves the right to decline or revoke registration at its sole discretion, either prior to or during the event. In such cases, affected individuals will be notified promptly via email.

2. Payment Terms

All registration fees must be paid in U.S. dollars via credit card. Accepted forms of payment include Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. The online registration system utilizes encryption software to ensure the secure transmission of payment data.

3. Housing Policy 

To support host properties and maintain reduced registration fees, NI Connect requests that attendees book accommodations within the official housing blocks designated for the conference. Attendees who receive discounted early bird rates or complimentary registration are required to stay within these housing blocks to retain their benefits.

Failure to comply with this policy may result in a post-event charge of $500. This fee will be assessed to any attendee who receives a discounted rate or complimentary registration and is found to be staying outside the designated housing block. Local attendees residing within commuting distance are exempt from this requirement.

Hotel options and negotiated rates are provided during the registration process.

4. Badge Requirements

All attendees must wear their official NI Connect Fort Worth badge at all times while on event premises. Badges must be visible and may be required for entry to sessions, meals, and other conference activities. A badge reprint fee of $50 will apply for lost or misplaced badges. NI reserves the right to deny access to any attendee not in compliance with badge requirements.

5. Media Consent 

By attending NI Connect Fort Worth, attendees grant NI (now part of Emerson) and its authorized agents the right to capture photographs, video, and audio recordings during the event. These recordings may be used for promotional purposes, including publication on websites, social media, and internal or external communications.

Attendees who do not wish to be recorded must notify event staff or the photographer on site. Concerns regarding the use of personal data or imagery may be directed to privacy@ni.com.

6. Privacy 

NI is committed to protecting the privacy of its attendees. The NI privacy statement, is incorporated by reference into these Terms and Conditions. Attendees are encouraged to review the policy prior to registration.

7. Safety and Security

Attendees may be subject to random bag checks and are prohibited from bringing illegal or hazardous items onto the premises. Personal belongings must not be left unattended. 

All attendees are expected to comply with instructions issued by NI staff and venue personnel. NI reserves the right to take any action deemed necessary to maintain a safe environment, including removal of individuals from the event.

8. Code of Conduct

Attendees are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner throughout the duration of the event. Business casual attire is required. Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in immediate removal from the event without refund. 

Attendees are responsible for any damage caused to property or facilities and may be held liable for associated costs.

9. Liability

NI shall not be liable for the loss, damage, or disappearance of personal property, including but not limited to electronic devices, software, or peripherals. Attendees assume full responsibility for their belongings and waive any claims against NI for such losses. 

Under no circumstances shall NI be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities. NI’s total liability shall not exceed the amount of registration fees paid by the attendee.

The event premises are provided “as is,” and NI makes no warranties regarding their condition or suitability.

10. Governing Law 

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or participation in NI Connect Fort Worth shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Travis County, Texas.

NI reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted to the event website and will become effective on the next business day following publication. Attendees are encouraged to review these Terms periodically.
