The Data Logging, Control, and Monitoring 1 Course prepares you to develop embedded control and monitoring applications using LabVIEW Real-Time and LabVIEW FPGA with CompactRIO hardware, CompactRIO Single-Board Controllers, and real-time PXI hardware. At the end of the course, you will be able to translate your embedded system requirements into a scalable software architecture and communicate data between FPGA, real-time, and PC targets. You will learn how to choose appropriate methods for interprocess communication. The course also covers implementation of additional functionality on the real-time target for logging, network communication, system health monitoring, and reliability using the LabVIEW Real-Time Module. The Data Logging, Control, and Monitoring 1 Course is recommended for users who need the performance and reliability of real-time and FPGA hardware targets. This course requires LabVIEW Core 3 or equivalent LabVIEW experience.
