The ThingsSpot LabVIEW API helps you connect NI controllers to the ThingsSpot Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) platform.
The ThingsSpot LabVIEW API is a software add-on for LabVIEW. With this add-on, you can connect the ThingsSpot IIoT platform to NI controllers and communicate with Internet of Things (IoT) devices over the Message Queuing Telemetry Transport (MQTT) protocol. You can use the ThingsSpot LabVIEW API to turn hardware such as CompactRIO Single-Board Controllers and CompactRIO Controllers with Windows or NI Linux Real-Time OS into IoT devices. The registered trademark Linux® is used pursuant to a sublicense from LMI, the exclusive licensee of Linus Torvalds, owner of the mark on a worldwide basis.
