The Pedometer for myRIO helps you count steps and measure the distance walked using the myRIO Student Embedded Device accelerometer.
The Pedometer for myRIO is a software add-on for LabVIEW that works with the myRIO Student Embedded Device. You can use this add-on to count the number of steps taken by a user for a given time period and you can measure distance covered in a given time period, and calculate the average length of a step. The Pedometer for myRIO uses triaxial gravity acceleration to calculate the average step rate from distance and number of steps.
