License Manger prevents Flexlogger Language Switching from working properly

When using a Trial version of FlexLogger 2021 R2 and R3 and switching to a non-English language, the languages shown will be a mix of the selected language and English. This error continues when choosing "Remind Me Next Time" when the Licensing Wizard pops up on software launch.

Workaround:

Select "Remind Me When They Expire" so that the Licensing Wizard is not shown again until the user activates the software or the evaluation expires. This error does not occur when the Licensing Wizard doesn't appear.

In some instances the localized language in the UX isn't fully localized

In some instances, when the localized language is part of a sub-locale, the splash screen remains in English and the Help buttons and Links redirect to the English help file. For example, the behavior will occur on a French (Canada) OS but not a  French (France) OS. This bug occurs for all languages with a sub-locale.

Licensing Wizard shows incorrect demo end date on first launch after license file replaced

In some cases, replacing a license file while a demo is active causes the License Manager wizard to show an invalid expiration date, such as January 01, 1900. This is only shown on the first launch after the file is replaced and is corrected on subsequent launches of the wizard.

Incompatibility between new versions of License Manager and old versions of VLM is not obvious

New versions of License Manager may be incompatible with old versions of VLM (Volume License Manager). For instance, License Manager 21.3 is incompatible with VLM 3.1.2. However, this incompatibility is not obvious from the behavior of NI License Manager.
Currently, the user is able to connect to the old VLM server through License Manager. The server information and licenses appear in License Manager and the product appears licensed. However, when the customer tries to launch a product, the checkout fails and the product doesn't launch.

Workaround:

License Manager 21.8 now has a clearer error message in these instances. Upgrade VLM (Volume License Manager) to avoid this error.

License Manager displays TestStand Semiconductor Module name inconsistently depending on the activation method.

NI License Manager displays the TestStand Semiconductor Module (TSM) version name (e.g. Q2 2022) inconsistently depending on the activation method. Regardless of what is shown, this is a cosmetic error and TSM is activated correctly. NI License Manager may show the version of TestStand, but not TSM. In other instances, NI License Manager may only show the version of TSM activated and not TestStand.

Workaround:

There is currently no known workaround for this issue.
