Test Monitor does not attach large test reports to SystemLink

TestStand report files over 80 MB are not uploaded to SystemLink and attached to the corresponding test result.

Workaround:

Ensure your report files are smaller than 80 MB or transfer them manually.

Complete the following steps to ensure the report is unique to each DUT if you are using the batch process model:
  1. Navigate to Configure > Results Processing...
  2. Select the Options... icon in the Report row.
  3. Select the Report File Pathname tab.
  4. Configure the report to be created per DUT.

Battery test package files cannot be removed once submitted through the BatteryTestPackageLoader

Once battery tests package files are submitted through the BatteryTestPackageLoader, they cannot be removed from the database of the server.

Workaround:

Submitting a package file with the same name updates the existing configuration. In this case, the old version is archived and used only by existing test plans. Submitting a configuration with a different name results in a new test plan.

Cannot run a test because the test station is reserved

A Lab PC may remain reserved after failing to run a test that has missing dependencies, such as Real-Time sequences, sequence files, and other software components. The Web UI displays "An unexpected error occurred," and the server's log contains an entry that reads "Unhandled exception in circuit. System.InvalidOperationException: The value alreadyRunningTestPlan should not be Null." No further tests can be run in the Lab PC after this event.

Workaround:

  1. Get the failing test station ID by navigating to C:\ProgramData\National Instruments\Battery Test System\.teststationid in the Lab PC that remains reserved.
  2. Remove the reservation from the server by navigating to C:\ProgramData\National Instruments\Battery Test System\FileStorage\.TestPlanRunReservations in the server PC and removing the JSON entry for the problematic test station ID.
  3. Restart the Battery Test System Web Server service from the Windows Task Manager.
