Calibration Executive 6.3 Bug Fixes

Overview

The following items are notable issues fixed between the release of Calibration Executive 6.2 and Calibration Executive 6.3, including additional patches and service packs. Fatal Error Occurs at Adjustment

The following calibration procedures fail to create adjustment sessions and return a fatal error:

  • NI 4461
  • NI 4462
  • NI 4472
  • NI 6704
  • NI 6713
  • NI 6722
  • NI 6723
  • NI 6733


When this error occurs, you must terminate the procedure and either use Windows Device Manager to disable and then re-enable the PCI or PXI device or shut down the system completely and power it back on again.

Verify Only run mode works correctly for NI 6704, NI 6713, NI 6722, NI 6723 and NI 6733 devices.

Workaround:

Use a previous version of Calibration Executive to execute the Verify & Adjust run mode on PCI/PXI-4461, -6704, and -6713 devices until a fix becomes available for version 6.0.

"Verify Main Analog Path Flatness" Step for PXI-5422 is Missing a Test Point

The following test point is missing from the Verify Main Analog Path Flatness step in the PXI-5422 procedure.

Frequency: 40 MHz
Gain: 1 db

The test point also does not appear in the PXI-5422 calibration report.

Workaround:

There is currently no known workaround for this issue.
