The EV Motor Simulation Toolkit provides real-time modeling of PMSM and BLDC motors and inverters for MCU hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing.

The EV Motor Simulation Toolkit is a software add-on for LabVIEW that you can use for real-time modeling of permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSMs) and brushless DC (BLDC) electric motors and inverters. The add-on supports the simulation of various motor and inverter faults, including open and short circuit. This simulation is compatible with CompactRIO and PXI hardware FPGAs, enabling the real-time simulation of motor models with a minimum time step of 100 ns. Additionally, the EV Motor Simulation Toolkit integrates with HIL systems to test the motor control unit (MCU) at the signal level.
