The LabVIEW Real-Time 1 Course covers the basics of designing, developing, and prototyping a real-time (RT) application that handles communication between the RT target and a host computer using the LabVIEW Real-Time Module. After attending this course, you will be able to determine if an RT solution is appropriate for a given problem. You will learn how to choose and configure the RT target hardware for a given real-time application. The course also teaches you how to implement a deterministic application and helps you understand how to reduce the jitter in a RT application. The LabVIEW Real-Time 1 Course is recommended for LabVIEW Real-Time Module users preparing to develop applications using real-time targets such as PXI Controllers, CompactRIO systems, or CompactRIO Single-Board Controllers. Experience with topics covered in the LabVIEW Core 1 Course is required.
