Application Modules:
The Application Modules are independently operational, low-cost microcontroller development boards designed for quick-and-easy connection and interfacing to the Freescale Microcontroller Project Board. Click here for a detailed list of all available Application Modules.
How do I get start developing applications for the Freescale MCU SLK?
Click here for the Getting Started manual for the Freescale MCU SLK.
Refer to the Hardware Setup section for instructions on setting up the MCU SLK. Applications for the MCU SLK can only be developed in the CodeWarrior® development environment from Freescale. Refer to the Development section in the Getting Started manual for instructions on setting up and creating applications.
For further development and debugging of your CodeWarrior® projects, refer to the HC(S)12(X) Debugger Manual
Where do I find labs and other online curriculum resources for the NI ELVIS II and the Freescale MCU SLK?
Click here for a link to the courseware page from Freescale. This page contains labs and other resources for many different computing platforms that are supported on the Freescale MCU SLK.
Click here for a link to labs that use LabVIEW and NI ELVIS II with the Freescale MCU SLK.
The MCU SLK may be used as a stand-alone prototyping platform or in conjunction with the NI ELVIS II platform. The project board will accept power input from the included wall-plug transformer, from the NI ELVIS workstation, or from the integrated USB BDM. Refer to the Hardware Setup section in the Getting Started manual for details.
Can I use the Freescale MCU SLK with both the NI ELVIS and the NI ELVIS II?
Yes, both the NI ELVIS and NI ELVIS II use the standard NI ELVIS connector to interface with prototyping boards. The Freescale Project Board and any other application specific prototyping boards from our partners can work with both the NI ELVIS and the NI ELVIS II.
