NI Vision Acquisition Software 2017 Bug Fixes


The following items are the CAR IDs of issues fixed between the release of NI Vision Acquisition Software August 2016 and NI Vision Acquisition Software 17.5. If you have a CAR ID, you can search this list to validate that the issue has been fixed. This is not an exhaustive list of issues fixed in the current version of NI Vision Acquisition Software.

413157 When NI License Manager is called from a LabVIEW VI or built application to extend the evaluation period of Vision software products, it cannot contact the necessary remote server.
608370, 629758 On NI CVS-1458RT Linux Real-Time targets, communication with the host may not by default get sent out through the primary/host Ethernet port if the host and other devices are all connected with link-local addressing (LLA). This issue was also fixed in Vision Acquisition Software January 2017.
617482, 629760 On NI CVS-1458RT Linux Real-Time targets, Ethernet interfaces do not always enumerate with the expected name order upon boot. This issue was also fixed in Vision Acquisition Software January 2017.
626575, 629757 On NI CVS-1458RT Linux Real-Time targets, devices connected with link-local addressing (LLA) can sometimes obtain duplicate IP addresses upon link negotiation. This issue was also fixed in Vision Acquisition Software January 2017.

664935 Windows 10 systems with Secure Boot enabled cannot load the default installed USB3 Vision drivers.
664203, 660867 On Windows and NI Linux-RT systems, opening a session with certain cameras throws error BFF6903E 'There was an error from the control interface of the USB3 Vision Camera'
494463, 431421 Under certain conditions, saving an image in NI-MAX will cause the program to crash.
627482 IMAQdx does not support Bayer 10p formats (GR, RG, GB, etc.) See Supported Pixel Formats for NI-IMAQdx document for more details.
205624 IMAQdx Grab and Attributes Setup CVI example throws administrator privileges errors
655137 Reading/writing camera registers that take a long time can produce timeouts.
593760 Closing a camera session on a computer under extreme load may crash the program.
