NI-RIO 14.0.1 Bug Fixes

Overview

The following items are the IDs and descriptions of a subset of issues fixed between NI-RIO 13.1.0 and NI-RIO 14.0.1. If you have a CAR ID, you can search this list to validate that the issue has been fixed in NI-RIO 14.0.1 with LabVIEW 2014.

Connecting to a remote RIO device on Linux can cause a Segmentation Fault when the network cable is disconnected.

The Real Time Clock could lock up on certain VxWorks controllers

The NI 9214 module when used in a Compact RIO controller will sometimes return a value equivalent to 114 F when open thermocouple detection is enabled.

A hardware issue in which a pin in a internal component of the FPGA was being used outside of specification. This issue affects the Scan Engine, Device Discovery, and Safemode bitfiles.   • Resolved Version - Version in which the issue was resolved or was no longer applicable. "N/A" indicates that the issue has not been resolved.
  • Date Added - The date the issue was added to the document (not the reported date).
