Trident works with NI hardware to provide sound-level measurement and acoustic analysis.

Trident is a software add-on for LabVIEW that you can use to perform single-channel or multichannel measurements for applications such as product noise emissions, sound power-level determination, field noise surveys, and transient events. You can also export data into Microsoft Excel workbooks. Trident works with most USB, PCI, and PXI dynamic signal analyzer devices from NI. It complies with the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) and the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) standards for sound-level meters.
