Overview

This document contains the TestStand Semiconductor Module Bug Fixes that were discovered before and since the release of NI TestStand 2019 Semiconductor Module. Not every bug fix known to NI will appear on this list; it is intended to only show the severe and more common issues that have been addressed.

702455Some TSM examples return TestStand Sequence Analyzer warningsThe TestStand Sequence Analyzer reports warnings for some TSM examples. You can ignore the warnings because they do not affect the functionality of the examples.
704375Non-ASCII characters in load board string properties display as question marks in STDF Log fileIf load board string properties contain non-ASCII characters, the STDF Log file displays those characters as question marks. The STDF Log file supports only ASCII characters.
704431Pin map validation error incorrectly references available sites settingA pin map validation run-time error message incorrectly states that you can change the number of available sites in the Configure Station Settings dialog box. The correct setting to change is the Enabled Sites option in the Configure Lot Settings dialog box.
704771Making a change to enabled sites resets Batch process model options to default valuesWhen you make a change to the Enabled Sites option in the Configure Lot Settings dialog box, some Batch process model options settings revert to the default values. In the Model Options dialog box, the Hide Execution Windows option is disabled, and the Tile Execution Windows option is enabled.
705441Errors occur when enabling NI TestStand Semiconductor ModuleWhen you enable TSM, an error might occur and return the message "Error occurred enabling Semiconductor Module: Object reference not set to an instance of an object." A second error also might occur that states "Object reference not set to an instance of an object." These errors do not affect functionality. Close the error windows to use TSM normally.

Glossary of Terms

 

  • Bug ID - When an issue is reported to NI, you may be given this ID or find it on ni.com.  You may also find IDs posted by NI on the discussion forums or in KnowledgeBase articles.
  • Legacy ID – An older issue ID that refers to the same issue.  You may instead find this issue ID in older known issues documents.
  • Description - A few sentences which describe the problem. The brief description given does not necessarily describe the problem in full detail.
  • Workaround - Possible ways to work around the problem.
  • Reported Version - The earliest version in which the issue was reported.
  • Resolved Version - Version in which the issue was resolved or was no longer applicable. "N/A" indicates that the issue has not been resolved.
  • Date Added - The date the issue was added to the document (not the reported date).
