LabVIEW 2018 Datalogging and Supervisory Control (DSC) Module Known Issues

Overview

This document contains the LabVIEW Datalogging and Supervisory Control (DSC) Module known issues that were discovered before and since the release of the LabVIEW 2018 DSC Module. Not every issue known to NI will appear on this list; it is intended to only show the severe and more common issues that can be encountered.

The LabVIEW 2018 Platform Known Issues contains a full listing of known issues, including LabVIEW toolkits and modules.

Library deploy fails in localization environment
Install LabVIEW Localization version (Chinese, Japanese or others) and DSC on the corresponding OS, library deploy can fail.

Workaround: Install English version before installing DSC.

NI Distributed System Manager constrains the "Remove Process" confirmation dialog
if a large number of items are to be removed from the NI-DSM, the confirmation dialog that appears has no scrollbar and it gets larger than the screen, hiding the Yes and No confirmation buttons.

Workaround: Do not remove large number of items at one time.

After you define a password expiration, when the time expires, you are still able to log in.
