2- or 4-Port, PCIe Vehicle Multi-Protocol Interface Device

    • 2- or 4-port CAN HS/FD and/or LIN interface with hardware-selectable NI-XNET transceiver cables
    • NI-XNET driver for developing frame and signal applications in LabVIEW, LabWindows™/CVI, and C/C++
    • NI-XNET device-driven DMA engine for coupling to host memory to minimize message latency
    • Synchronization; 1 μs timestamps for integration with NI DAQ, digitizers, switches, large systems
    • Integrated support for importing, editing, and using signals from FIBEX, .DBC, .NCD, and .LDF files
    • Requires one NI-XNET CAN/LIN transceiver cable per port

The PCIe-8510 is a 2- or 4-port hardware-selectable controller area network (CAN) and/or local interconnect network (LIN) interface for developing CAN and/or LIN applications in LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, and ANSI C/C++. As part of the NI-XNET platform, the PCIe-8510 works well for applications that require real-time, high-speed manipulation of hundreds of CAN frames and signals, such as hardware-in-the-loop simulation, rapid control prototyping, bus monitoring, automation control, and more.
