VCSEL I-V Test Software Help

The VCSEL I-V Test Software provides LabVIEW VIs and examples for you to create and deploy applications to perform high-speed pulse testing on the VCSEL I-V Test Subsystem.

You can use the VCSEL I-V Test Software to perform the following tasks:

  • Initializing the VCSEL I-V Test Subsystem
  • Loading data files
  • Configuring and generating pulse
  • Performing I-V measurements in serial or parallel mode
  • Plotting I-V curves

Refer to the VCSEL I-V Test Subsystem User Manual for concepts and step-by-step instructions about using the VCSEL I-V Test Software to perform I-V measurements on the VCSEL I-V Test Subsystem.

To access the VCSEL I-V Test VIs, select View»Functions Palette and navigate to User Libraries»VCSEL I-V Test from the block diagram in LabVIEW.

The VCSEL I-V Test VIs can return general LabVIEW error codes.

Palette Object Description
VCSEL Calculate I-V Point VI Calculates the current-voltage relationship based on raw data acquired from DUTs.
VCSEL Close VI Closes a VCSEL session and deallocates reserved resources.
VCSEL Configure Sweep Setting VI Configures a pulse during a sweep for I-V measurements.
VCSEL Draw I-V Curve VI Plots the I-V curve based on the current-voltage relationship that the VCSEL Calculate I-V Point VI generates.
VCSEL Generate Pulse and Read Measurement VI Generates pulses and acquires raw measurement data from DUTs in serial or parallel mode.
VCSEL Initialize VI Initializes the VCSEL I-V Test Subsystem. This VI loads system and pulse compensation data and returns a VCSEL session.
