Grounding the NI-4134

You must connect the NI-4134 grounding terminal to the grounding electrode system of the facility.

Required Equipment

• Grounding wire
• #2 Phillips screwdriver

Complete the following steps to ground the NI-4134.

1. Remove the grounding screw from the grounding terminal on the NI-4134.
2. Attach the ring lug to the grounding terminal.
   
3. Tighten the grounding screw to 0.5 N⋅m (4.4 lb⋅in) of torque.
4. Attach the other end of the wire to the system ground using a method that is appropriate for your application.
