Create a diagnostics file to send to your NI support representative or submit in a
service request through ni.com. Diagnostics files contain logging information from all
existing DataFinder, Data Preprocessor, and Analysis Automation instances.
SystemLink TDM logs server activities in the Standard
on the nature of the error, NI may ask you to change the logging mode for a limited
period of time to create a more detailed diagnostics file.
You don't need to change the
logging mode unless NI asks you to.
Use one of the following applications to create a
diagnostics file. In Data Indexing or Data
Click DataFinder Instances or
DataPreprocessor Instances on the
Select an instance and click
In the Analysis Automation instance, click
Creating a diagnostics file may take a while. The diagnostics file contains
the information scope from the active logging mode.

Click the filename to open or save the ZIP file.
If you need to change the logging mode, choose the
required option and click OK. Run the logging mode for
the length of time suggested. Then continue with steps 1-2 to create a
Changing the logging mode takes effect immediately. All previous logfiles
maintain their format and remain on the server.
