Create a diagnostics file and send it to your NI support representative or submit a
service request through ni.com. Diagnostics files have the file
extension *.zip and contain information about all existing DataFinder,
Data Preprocessor, and Analysis Automation instances, like indexing processes or search
queries.

Click DataFinder Instances or
DataPreprocessor Instances on the
dashboard.

Select an instance and click .

Click Instance on the dashboard.

Specify the scope of information that the system writes into the diagnostics file.
