Connecting to a Remote Mongo Database

Configure SystemLink to access a remote Mongo database to enhance scalability and fault tolerance.

Before you begin, contact your database administrator to determine the port and login credentials you need to use to connect to a remote Mongo database. Refer to MongoDB documentation for more information.
  1. Launch NI SystemLink Server Configuration.
  2. Under NI SystemLink Service Manager, click NoSqlDatabase.
  3. Under Configuration, choose Connect to an externally managed NoSql database server.
  4. For Host, specify the name of the Mongo server.
  5. Specify the port this connection will use. The most common port is 27017.
  6. Specify a username and password you use to connect to the Mongo database.
  7. Click Apply.
