Defining Additional Raw Data Areas

Add new folders with raw data to be scanned or processed by the Data Preprocessor instance.

1. In Data Preparation, click Data Preprocessor Instances.
2. Select an instance and click » Manage» Raw Data Areas .
3. Click Add and specify a name and folders for the raw data and processed data. Use UNC paths to specify a folder. An example UNC path is \\Server\MyFolder.
4. Optional: To modify the regular file scanning schedule for the raw data folders, select the instance and click » Manage» Monitoring Raw Data Areas» File Scan Schedule .
5. Click OK.
6. Click Apply in the highlighted area to accept the settings.
7. Optional: Select a raw data area and click Exclude Subfolder to exclude subfolders from scanning and processing.
8. Optional: To change a name of a raw data area, select the name and click Edit.
