Restoring a DataFinder, Data Preprocessor, or an Analysis Automation Instance

Restore a DataFinder, Data Preprocessor, or an Analysis Automation instance from a backup file to reuse this instance.

1. In Data Indexing, Data Preparation, or Analysis Automation, open the instance overview.
2. Select an instance and click New»New from Backup or »More»Restore.

   Option	Description
   New»New from Backup	Creates a copy of an instance on another computer.
   »More»Restore	Replaces an instance with its backup.

3. Select the backup file. Backup files have the following file extensions:

   Option	Description
   DataFinder instance	.bakdf
   Data Preprocessor instance	.bakdpp
   Analysis Automation instance	.bakas

4. If you create a copy, give the new instance a name and click OK.
