Configure systems, view system settings, and set up alarms and notifications to monitor system health.

Systems management can include different tasks depending on your use case. The following table highlights tasks in Systems Manager to meet common systems management goals.
Goal Systems Management Tasks
Control the actions of multiple systems at the same time. Use the Managed Systems list to deploy software, lock a system, change startup settings, or queue jobs.
Specify characteristics for individual systems. Use the details view for a specific system in Managed Systems to change the hostname, add comments, set the time, or adjust network settings.
Know when any data from your systems indicates an issue. Monitor the health of your systems using alarms and set up notifications for each alarm.
